How do you Identify the Gender of a Red-Eared Sliding Turtle?

Well, my red eared slider, Jitterbug is a Female. I can tell this because I looked it up on YouTube.com and it said:

Females:1.Shorter nails

2.Shorter and stumpier tail

3.They grow bigger than males do(up to 12 inches)

Males:1.Usually smaller than females

2.long skinny tail

3.really long sharp nails
