Do parakeets make a lot of noise?

Parakeets can get noisy but if they have the right amount of attention and care, they shoud not be much of a bother. Female parakeets make less noise(practically none) than males but keep in mind that females are much more aggressive. Alse, at night, keep their cage covered with a sheet or towel and that should keep them quite while you are sleeping. I hope this is helpful.
