Most states have a department that regulates insurance companies in their state. If you are not getting a response, from your insurance company or the other parties, you may want to file a complaint with your state insurance regulation department. Make sure that you have a list of times you tried to contact the insurance companies and a receipt for any letters you may have sent. Simple saying I tried to call is not enough. You need a log with specifics like time, and dates and what number you called and who you spoke to or where you left a message. By calling your state's capital you can find your states's insurance regulator's number.
