Do tomatoes turn green then red?

We may have the same strain of tomatoes i love them.I call them green envies.The dont turn red.. Stop watering them and they will turn red. - I tried this with one of my planets and it died leaving still leaving green tomatoes on the plant They might not be ready to turn red. Do they get enough sunlight? Did you start with a tomato plant? Or seeds? The plant should have had a tag telling you how many days it takes to ripen. The seed packet would also have this information. - How long do they take to start to turn red. They are plum Tomatoes, and the tomatoes that have grown seem to have stayed the same size and green for several weeks now. They were grown from seed. the seed packet only says that they take 19-20 weeks to ripen. They get lots of sunlight, not direct but the sun is strong here.
