You are a theatre major and you want to be an actress on a cruise ship you graduate in 2012 What do you need to do?

You quickly learn to live with disappointment after you realize you've made a horrible mistake. I've worked in the entertainment department (as stage manager and tech assistant) on more than one ship and these people are truley NOT happy with being pinned into a repetitive job, performing "watered down" version's of productions as well as being used like cattle to supplement other jobs to help keep the passengers entertained during their cruises. Way too long of a story to explain in detail ...... just trust me and don't do it.

Those years you wasted onboard could have been better used to gain ground and further a real career in the arts elsewhere.
