What is the Name of bird in England similar to a crow?

Its closest relative is the ROOK which looks very similar but with a distinctive conical beak.

Its other close relative is the JACKDAW, a little smaller with a greyish collar.

Scotland (a little to the North of England) has a Hooded Crow, almost identical to the English Carrion Crow but with dark and light colouration.
