Values are a market average and only for coins in collectible condition, coins that are bent, corroded, scratched, used as jewelery or have been cleaned have far less value if any to a collector or dealer.
The 1924 Lincoln cent is fairly common, lower grade circulated coins have retail values of 15 to 50 cents. Better coins run from $1.00-$5.00 and coins with very little wear are $8.00 to $15.00.
