How can you tell when a verruca is healing?

A verruca, or plantar wart, is healing when it starts to change color, often becoming lighter or turning gray. You may also notice a reduction in size, and the surrounding skin might appear less inflamed. Additionally, if the pain or discomfort associated with the verruca diminishes, it's a sign that healing is progressing. Finally, the formation of new skin or the shedding of the wart's surface may also indicate healing.
