How long to African cats live?

Have seen three somewhat inconsistent responses. First is 9-15 years, another 12 years, the final 15+ years. A lot depends on whether the cat has avoided the gingivitis problem common to the breed. If the cat's teeth have not been cared for, you can expect a shorter lifespan. They're wonderful cats for however long you share your home.
