Why does Ichigo's hollow mask change in appearance?

the red lines show the hollow's control over ichigo. In the beginning the mask had only two lines as the series progress the mask gains more lines and they grow larger if you notice the vizords all have white masks showing their complete control. i think that hichigo (hollow ichigo) is doing what he said he would sneaking up behinded and cutting him down. hichigo said dont die before i come back again if you want true power. ichigo didnt really win hichigo let him think he did so ichigo would drop his guard and let him in a little move each time.

when he was fighting ulquiorra he turned full release hollow and defeated ulquirra and now his mask has just 2 steaks over his eyes so i guess he has more control over the hollow form but he's all cold and heartless when he saves rukia and the rest from yammy. and he has control of the 2 steaked mask but before he even tried to kill the ones he was trying to protect so did he surrender his soul????? to the horo ichigo and they become one or is he just tiered of fighting? because he was all cocky to yammy but was cold to his friends. so horo ichigo has that all cocky thing to his enemys and that whatever to the people hes known for like forever ....... not meaning ichigo meaning his zanpactou.
