How do you change a water pump on a 2002 Land Rover discovery?

Diesel, the water pump is behind the Power Steering pump and does not directly connect to the belt and is quite involved if you are not familiar with auto work.

Petrol/Gas, remove the fan (that is the hardest bit, use a 36mm fan spanner and turn it ccw) the loosen the belt (15mm on tensioner) and undo the bolts that hold the pump on.
