Does phentermine affect the birth control pill?

There are no additional side effects (other than the ones caused by the individual medications) to using the combination of phentermine and Birth Control pills. Also, there are no drug interactions between them.

There is no evidence to suggest that the use of phentermine makes oral contraceptives (birth control pills) less effective.
