How do you remove the windshield wipers on a 2009 Subaru Forester?

To remove the windshield wipers on a 2009 Subaru Forester, first, lift the wiper arms away from the windshield to a vertical position. Locate the small tab or lever on the underside of the wiper blade where it attaches to the arm, press it down, and slide the blade off the arm. Repeat the process for the other wiper. Finally, lower the wiper arms back to their resting position.
