What is the sword of truth?

Well, a sWord of truth appears in several different novels by different authors, actually. Usually it is a sWord that forces the wielder to confront the truth about him or herself, and destroys evil that is based on lies. There are other aspects, based on the author.

There is a series by Terry Goodkind called the SWord of Truth series, if that is what you are looking for.

**There is also a series from Terry Brooks titled the 'SWord of Shannara'. In this first book is the sWord in which the book and series were named for. This sWord has the ability or power (as stated above) to force the wielder (or victim) to confront the truth about him or herself.

there is also a show called the legend of the seeker. the weapon that the seeker uses to defeat the bad guy Darken Rahl is the SWord of truth.

The Terry Brooks series is not called "SWord of Shannara" that's just the title of one of the books in the series. The series itself is just called "Shannara"
