She throws herself under a train. This is symbolic because the first time Anna saw Vronksy, a man fell under a train. She is amazed by his kindness when he gives the widow of the man enough money to live off of for some time- something he did to impress her. Tolstoy meant the beginning and end of their relationship to be central around one thing.
