Can you use a mirror to reflect sunlight into a shady area of your yard so that you can grow vegatables?

I'm sure you can. Sunlight will be marginally less strong but more than enough for growing crops. Just be sure to point the mirror such that it doesn't reflect into your neighbors' yard at different angles of the sun.
