Facebook is not shutting down and it is notgoing to end on March 15, 2011. Mark Zuckerberg never said any such thing.

Apparently, CEO Mark Zuckerberg said "managing [Facebook] has ruined my life. I need to put an end to all the madness." This never happened. weeklyworldnews.com reported this, which is a satire/parody news site (the news isn't real).

Facebook has over 500 million active users, and is the #1 most visited website in the U.S. Shutting down would be the last thing they'd want to do. They also responded, saying, "We aren't going anywhere; we're just getting started."
