Would a pterodactyl be able able to live today if their wings tore?

Yes and no, it really depends on where they're living, if they were to live in a place where it would be easy to find food, then yes, but if the food is scarce then they wouldn't live that long, tearing a wing or losing a wing is just like losing a leg or an arm we can still live but we would need some help.
