How do you replace the parking light bulb on a Volvo S40 2001 does the front of the glass have to come off or is there a special tool to remove the bulbholder?

The total unit needs to be removed first by loosening the Philips head screw on the side of the headlight (look between the headlight and the fender with hood raised). The turn signal unit can then be slid forward which will remove it. The socket can then be removed and the bulb replaced.
