When was the character of Storm introduced by Marvel Comic books?

The character of Storm was introduced by Marvel Comics in May of 1975. Her first appearance was in the first issue of Giant-Size X-Men. Storm is one of the most frequently used X-Men. In the movies she is portrayed by Halle Berry with white hair and purple eyes. Storm was created by Len Wein and Dave Cockrum. As a mutant she can control the weather and is most known for creating storms to attack her opponents (Hence the name "Storm").
