What things do the highwayman need to be good at?

There are many techniques used in the highwayman but starting with the obvious ones, there are onamatapoeia( i think thats how u it o.o ) e.g

repetition used to emphasise the fact that the whole poem sounds liek a horse galloping which the poet acheives in making and also it keeps a special and constant rhythm . repetition is used in every stanza in the last 4 lines of each.

another technique is alliteration . ' Ghostly Galleon'.
