What would cause a puppy to urinate very frequently and in very small amounts?

All dogs do this, especially male dogs. It is mostly down to the fact that in the wild, male dogs mark their territory by urinating in their territory. This tells other dogs, that the dog has been there and considers that area its teritory. This is normal dog behaviour usually.
