What is the code p1399 on a 2000 Honda CR-V?

P1399 is multiple/ variable misfire detected. Many people have tried to fix this problem by doing major tune ups but no luck. The majority of the time, the problem is in the cylinder head, more than likely burnt valves or the valves need to be adjusted.
