When was bsnl formed?

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) was formed on October 1, 2000. It was established as a public sector telecommunications company in India, following the restructuring of the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) under the Ministry of Communications. BSNL took over the assets and services of the former government-run telecom operations to provide a range of telecommunications services across the country.
