How do you remove the room light switch dimmer knob to remove the face plate beneath?

The knobs on my two just pull off, but I have seen some that have a tiny set screw in a hole in the side of the knob. The setscrew may be removed with a very small slotted screwdriver. Some need an Allen wrench to remove the setscrew.
