What does mace mace plant look like?

The mace plant, scientifically known as Myristica fragrans, is an evergreen tree that can grow up to 20 meters tall. It has dark green, glossy leaves that are oval-shaped and can reach up to 15 centimeters in length. The tree produces yellowish flowers and, most notably, its fruit resembles a peach, which contains a hard seed surrounded by a bright red aril, known as mace. The aril is the part used as a spice, while the seed is known as nutmeg.
