Well, everything is pretty accurate here except "LG stands for Life's Good." "Life's Good" is the company slogan, not the company name. LG actually stands for Lucky Goldstar, the Korean company that in the 70's, 80's, 90's manufactured small appliances under the Goldstar brand name.
