Could the animal get blind from this?

It depends on what kind of testing is going on. Rabbits are the animals which go blind due to the scientists putting stuff in the eye to see how it reacts. The animal may also go blind is the animal is being tested with injections and 'cures' for humans.

Things the scientists put in eyes are:

- soap

- shampoo

- floor cleaner

- shaving foam

- eye wash

- make up

- oils

- aftershave

- sprays

Basically anything which someone might get in their eye by accident.
