During winter months ladybugs "overwinter" or hibernate. They seek shelter under rocks/plants and they group together in aggregates varying from a few ladybugs up to tens of thousands depending on the particular species of ladybug. Also to conserve energy they slow down their metabolic rate. http://Flickr.com/photos/j-fish/2281357056/ http://www.eje.cz/scripts/viewabstract.php?abstract=1197 Based on this, do ladybugs find this time enjoyable? I would imagine they would prefer to eat and make more ladybugs. So no, lady bugs don't like the cold.
