AC on my 98 Tahoe works when it wants. I need to change out the switch. Where and how do I change the ac switch?

To change the AC switch on your 1998 Chevy Tahoe, first disconnect the negative battery terminal to ensure safety. Then, remove the dashboard trim around the climate control panel using a trim tool or screwdriver. Unscrew the mounting bolts for the climate control unit, pull it out, and unplug the wiring harness from the back. Finally, replace the AC switch, reassemble the unit, and reconnect the battery.
