What is oil capacity of Pontiac 400?

Should be 4 qts. without a filter and 5 qts. with a filter.

Pontiacs take 6 quarts with a filter change.

I know that the 67 400 engine I had held 6 quarts of oil, not including the additional quart contained in the oil filter. It was marked on the stick 6 quarts capacity in the pan
