What are the consequences for a community when they cannot access a clean water supply?

There is a possibility of serious health hazard when a community cannot access a clean water supply. In absence of which , they may tend to adopt other sources of drinking water which may not be hygienically pure and clean . It is the duty and responsibility of the Self Government bodies to provide clean water supply to its citizens, the mishap or break down may be temporary when alternatively water can be supplied to the community people by water tanks.
