What questions can a person ask someone you are just starting to date?

It's particularly nice to listen carefully, and ask questions that have some connection to what the other person is talking about, or is expressing some interest in. Having a few general questions to throw in from time to time is ok, but be careful not to come across as if you are interrogating, or attempting to control every minute.
