What does bodhizafa mean?

Bodhi is a type of tree. Ther tree Budda sat under when he became enlightened. In the 1991 movie, "Point Break" Patrick Swayze's (R.I.P.) characters name was Bodhi Zafa. I dont believe bodhizafa has any meaning other than this character but search bodhi to find other meanings all pertaining to "enlightenment"

In Tibetan Buddhism, a Bodhisattva is anyone who is motivated by compassion and seeks enlightenment not only for him/herself but also for everyone...Bodhi translates as "enlightened' and sattva as 'being" so basically the enlightened one.
