What makes you the best person to be a ward clerk?

I believe I have many years experience with People and I see a Ward Clerk position as being one involving connection between people. From my understanding a Ward Clerk is the lynch pin that links visitors to patients and to medical staff, staff to staff and staff, patients and visitors to Doctors.

I am a people person first and foremost and have worked in industries over the years where I have had to handle people from all walks of life, from different cultures and in varying states of emotional upheaval. I have great communication skills and am a great listener, a skill which is a priority when I work as a counsellor. I have learnt to be very organised and can prioritise my workload when under pressure, as demonstrated in my role as Medical Credentialling Officer and well as in many of my previous roles in finance, travel and real estate and Property Management.
