Louise McKinney's full name is Louise Crummy McKinney. She was a prominent Canadian suffragist and politician, known for her contributions to women's rights and her role in the famous "Persons Case" that established women's legal status as persons in Canada. McKinney was the first woman elected to a legislature in Canada, serving in the Alberta Legislature from 1917 to 1921.
