When did Phil Gramm serve as representative?

Phil Gramm served as a U.S. Representative for Texas from 1979 to 1985. He was a member of the Republican Party and represented the 6th Congressional District. After his time in the House, he went on to serve in the U.S. Senate from 1985 to 2002.
