The location of thermostat 2002 cavalier?

Although I'm not familiar with a 2002, you should find the thermostat by following the upper radiator hose to the engine. Usually the easiest route from the left side to the block.

Not 100% sure, but if you have a 2.2L, that's how mine was. They haven't changed much.
