Why is the title of the story Mi Caballo Mago?

The story is called "Mi caballo mago" because to the narrator of the story the horse seems to be magical. The horse is not actually magic. The horse is a legend to all the townsfolk and the narrator begins to become obsessed with it - the horse "invades" his dreams, etc. Whenever he briefly captures the horse it becomes hislegendary horse.
