My xbox 360 gets an E 74 error when i turn it on with my video cable plugged in how are you supposed to fix this?

shoot it with a shotgun. just kidding call Microsoft and send it in if its under warranty if its not their is alot of fix it your self guides on the internet but i havent been able to get any to work for good yet. they all just work for a day or so and then right back to the e74.
