Yes, but it is also true that some people discriminate and won't hire you because of it.
Most jobs are ok with it though, as long as they look clean. They will probably ask you to tie them up or cover them.
Or you can get a job where you don't have to look professionnal, or a job where an alternative look makes you even more valuable to the eyes of the employers. It all depends where you apply.
