What do morning doves eat?

Though I've never actually raised one, morning doves live around our place and eat insects I suppose. The most easy food to obtain that they eat, however, is just regular bird feed you buy at the store. Just be sure to provide it with access to water, food, and a secure, steadfast nesting area that they can feel private.
