What kind of music do Russians listen to?

Russians are great lovers of Classical Music and have produced quite a number of famous classical composers. Like all other countries, they have a big number of local jazz and pop stars, plus a great number of local musicians who specialize in traditional and modern Russian music. Certainly over the last decades and with the advent of internet, pop and Jazz Music have become 'universal' and the big stars are as well known in Russia as in most Western countries.
