What was different after World War 2?

You name it. Virtually everything that has happened in the world since has been influenced by it. Here's a few for starters: Cold War UN Nuclear Age MAD Brinksmanship West, Bloc, and Third World categorizations The end of Imperialism in Asia and independence for all those countries, which led to independence in Africa as well. Pacification of Europe, with good cause I guess Foundation of Israel, and all that entails the concept of war crimes as an international affair the term "nazi" thrown around at anyone you don't like the list goes on and on
