What to do if you spot a shark?

Most sharks are just as scared of humans as we are of them however depending on how close there are and if they are acting aggressive people will react different. If you see a grey nurse getting aggressive lay on the bottom on the sea bed as they are unable to bite down. if you are getting attacked by a shark don't go for the eyes.. most sharks have covers over their eyes to protect them when they are chomping down, instead aim for the gills. With the larger sharks it's best to pose in a dominant stance, making yourself look larger. The main thing to do is stay calm, move calmly out of the water and if you're carrying a bag of fish from spear fishing it's best to let it go.
