Can coral be brought back to life?

Once a coral is completely dead, it cannot come back to life. If part of it is dying, many species can be saved. Your best bet is to establish a good relationship with your local Saltwater Fish store. They are great for giving you information on what to do with your dying coral. Many times you can bring the item to them for help. If a piece of coral is dying, it may need to be removed from your tank anyway in order to keep it from contaminating the water and potentially killing off other items in the tank.
