WHo was the boat owner in the movie Jaws?

In the movie "Jaws," the boat owner is Quint, portrayed by Robert Shaw. Quint is a seasoned fisherman and shark hunter who runs the fishing boat Orca. He is hired by Chief Brody and Matt Hooper to help them catch the great white shark that is terrorizing the waters of Amity Island.
