Unplug The TV Before Working

If you are going to try to do minor TV repair jobs on your own, make sure that you unplug the television first. Even if you do not think that you will be near the wires, you do not want to have it plugged in. This is just asking for a mistake to happen. Getting shocked will not kill you since the breakers will blow and save your life, but it will hurt a lot.
