Why is the oil light flashing on a 94 Acura Vigor?

If it comes on after driving awhile and oil level is okay and it goes out if you turn off car and then restart then it is a fairly common problem with early Acura electrical connections. The solder is prone to failure on the circuit boards and or relays causing false readings or no connection. Usually these occur during hot weather. Resoldering is the cure if this is the case. Safe to continue driving if light goes out after restart though. Don"t drive if light stays on after restart until oil pressure is verified/
