This is a two person job. If it has a carburetor remove the air filter.
Then you could try putting a small amount gas into the intake as your helper pumps the gas and try's to start your truck.
You could also try ether also known as starting fluid.
If it is a fuel injected model simply remove the air intake tube and try the starting fluid.
Again while your helper is trying to start your truck.
Make sure you read the directions on the can. If you go the Starting Fluid Route.
Good Luck and hope this helps.
You could also called the Service Department at your Dealer and ask them.
Get a Manual if you don't have one.
Make sure all the washer our on and the filter hose is tie but do not over tie the hose the fittings will not line up right. I think there is 4 washers in all. your new filter should come with some. keep the old waster just in case you loose one of the new washers.
